Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Olympic Lifting/CrossFit Coach to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fitness, possess excellent coaching skills, and have a strong background in Olympic lifting and CrossFit methodologies. As a coach, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and inspiring our members to reach their full potential in their fitness journey.

Responsibilities:

- Lead Olympic lifting and CrossFit classes for members of varying fitness levels, ensuring safety and proper technique at all times.

- Develop and implement engaging and effective training programs that align with our fitness philosophy and goals.

- Provide personalized coaching and feedback to members to help them achieve their individual fitness objectives.

- Conduct fitness assessments and track member progress to measure improvements and adjust training plans accordingly.

- Create a supportive and motivating environment that fosters camaraderie and community among members.

- Assist with facility maintenance and equipment upkeep to ensure a clean and safe training environment.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Olympic lifting, CrossFit, and fitness training.

Qualifications:

- Certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer or higher certification preferred. USAW or other weightlifting also accepted.

- Strong background in Olympic lifting with proficiency in lifts such as snatch, clean, and jerk.

- Previous coaching experience in Olympic lifting, CrossFit, or similar functional fitness programs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively motivate and inspire others.

-BLS/AED certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).

- Passion for fitness and a commitment to helping others achieve their fitness goals.
