Our  client excels in developing distinctive, luxurious and highly effective OTC, cosmeceutical, cosmetic, natural/organic and physician-dispensed products using cutting-edge raw materials sourced from around the world. They are searching for a QC Technician Line Inspector to join their team in Livermore, CA

Position: QC Line Inspector Technician 
Pay Rate: $20/hr. or D.O.E. 
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Livermore, Ca  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality support to production lines.
  • Ensure production line compliance with batch instructions and procedures.
  • Conduct and document inspections, checks, and sampling throughout the production process.
  • Clear lines and inspect processing areas to remove previous products, components, and materials.
  • Conduct standard inspections of first articles, first pallets, and random sampling of finished products.
  • Halt production or shipment in case of significant deviations from specifications, standards, or quality during inspections.
  • Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and approve production labels.
  • Monitor all manufacturing and packaging operations, reporting any non-conformances to supervisors or managers.
  • Conduct line checks and Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) inspections as specified in batch records and training.
  • Review batch documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow up on non-compliant products that have been reworked and corrected, completing necessary deviation forms.
  • Maintain quality control inspection reports and daily summary logs.
  • Collect and manage QC/Retain samples during production, assigning retain numbers and overseeing sample management.
  • Collect customer and lab testing samples during production, ensuring proper identification.
  • Manage daily temperature monitoring and documentation.

Skills/Qualifications:
• High School education (HS Diploma or GED preferred) and 2 years relevant experience
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, rounding)
• Basic computer skills, including keyboarding/data entry and working knowledge of MS Office (especially Word and Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain a positive, professional, cooperative demeanor.
• Strong sense of accountability, responsibility, and ownership of projects and tasks.
