Multiple Cycle Counting postions open 1st shift $19/hr Temp to hire

The Inventory Cycle Counter will be responsible for accurately counting and reconciling inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items according to established schedules and procedures.
  • Accurately record inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory transactions and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Perform inventory audits and participate in physical inventory counts as needed.
  • Utilize inventory management software and tools to track inventory movements and update inventory records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the inventory storage areas.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or related role.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory control best practices.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
