We are seeking Material Handlers to join our fortune 500 Lawn and Garden Product Production team on 1st shift. This position is an inside and outside job so you must be open to working in both Environments.

Pay/Hours:

• Hours are 5am-2:00pm Mon-Fri with OT on Saturdays.
• Starting pay at $17.00/hr

Job Description:

• Maintains the flow through the shakers by poking the material to break it up to prevent bridging
• Maintains the finishing screens by scraping them to insure the product flows through it
• Informs the heavy equipment operator to fill the shakers
• Meets quality and quantity standards
• Assists with small bag line operations as needed
• General Warehouse picking and packing and loading and unloading
• Ensures the packaging lines have empty pallets available and informs the supervisor of the pallet inventory
• Performs housekeeping duties which include scraping, sweeping and shoveling, stacking bags
• Performs housekeeping duties to ensure the material does not accumulate under the conveyors, aisle ways and cat-walks by following safety practices to avoid injuries
