Key Responsibilities:- Medication Dispensing: Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.- Patient Counseling: Provide detailed counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.- Controlled Substances Management: Maintain accurate records and manage controlled substances responsibly.- Staff Training: Oversee and train pharmacy staff to ensure adherence to best practices.- Collaborative Care: Work with healthcare providers to manage and improve patient care.- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock.- Insurance Processing: Handle insurance claims processing and reimbursement efficiently.- Customer Service: Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
Job Requirements:- Must Have: A valid state required pharmacist license- Must Have: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.- Preferred: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
