Job Description:

An established primary care and multi-specialty medical practice is seeking an experienced Dermatologist to be an integral part of our team. This is a part-time position for our Ridgewood (Queens) specialty office. The Dermatologist is responsible for diagnosing and treating skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer. They will also provide preventive care, such as skin cancer screenings and sun protection education. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough skin examinations and record patients' health histories.
  • Diagnose and treat skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer.
  • Prescribe medications and perform medical procedures, such as biopsies and skin cancer removal.
  • Provide preventive care, such as skin cancer screenings and sun protection education.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as biopsies and cultures.
  • Maintain patient records and documentation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligible in dermatology preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical dermatology setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with computer software, such as electronic health records (EHRs).
  • Medical License (Required)
