Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: Up to $50,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview

As the Restaurant Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest satisfaction. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll lead a dynamic team, foster a positive work environment, and contribute to the restaurant’s overall success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with General Manager: Work closely with the GM to execute the restaurant’s vision and goals.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure outstanding customer service, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Lead by Example: Set a strong work ethic for the entire team through your actions.
  • Staff Development: Attract, train, and develop quality staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, minimize waste, and optimize cost control.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate positive relationships with colleagues, vendors, and management.
  • Motivate Team: Inspire and motivate team members to achieve performance goals.

Requirements

  • FOH Management Experience: Minimum of 2 years in high-volume Full-Service Casual restaurants (sales volume of at least $2 million).
  • Stability: No more than 2 jobs in the last 5 years or 3 jobs in the last 9 years.
  • Guest Service Excellence: A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Culinary Insight: Familiarity with food quality standards; able to taste-test and ensure consistency.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in hiring, training, and managing a diverse team.
  • Personable and Energetic: A positive attitude and great interpersonal skills.
  • Sales and Promotion: Enjoy networking, upselling, and promoting catering services.
