Kiddie Academy of Stuart has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, optimistic and inspiring educator to join us as a Assistant Teacher. You’ll bring a creative touch and caring attitude to our passionate team of childcare professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community every day. 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in daycare, preschool, or early intervention setting
  • Childhood Development Associate Certificate
  • 45 DCF Hours
  • Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to educate and inspire young learners

Responsibilities:

  • Assists and supervises children during all activities.
  • Counsels children when social, academic or adjustment problems arise.
  • Develops plans and prepares instructional aids and materials for classroom activities.
  • Ensures that appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of classroom are appropriately maintained.
  • Assists children with meal times and clean-up.
  • Assists with all academy and classroom paperwork: for example, daily notes, accident reports, and attendance reports.
  • Assists with preparation and implementation of classroom lesson plans, programs, and schedule.
  • Ensures that all classroom and outdoor equipment are in good working condition and are used and maintained properly.
