Journeyman Electrician

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician with a minimum of 5 years experience to join our team. As a Journeyperson Electrician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining & repairing electrical system in commercial & industrial settings. Ability to read and understand blueprints & schematics. Knowledge of the National Electrical Code, California Electrical Code, NFPA 70, local codes and construction safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in accordance with national & local codes.

- Read & interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform necessary repairs

- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functioning & safety

- Maintain accurate daily records of work performed

- Adhere to all safety protocols

- Work well other team members to complete projects on time and within budget

EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role you should have the following:

- California Electrician License

- Proven experience as a Commercial or Industrial Electrician

- Proficiency blueprint and schematic reading

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components

- Ability to read and interpret technical documents & drawings

- Experience with hand tools and electrical testing equipment

- Experience with power tools ( wire pulling machines, hydraulic benders and pipe threaders)

- This project is expected to last 3-4 months

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Salary $40.00 to $60.00 per hour depending on experience

Expected hours 40-48 hours per week
