Automotive Painter - College Station, TX

$55K - $75K + Production Bonus

Responsible for completing high-quality paint repairs assigned in the shortest time possible while ensuring exceptional service to our customers.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform duties associated with painting to include mixing and matching paint, preparing and testing panels, and monitoring of painting operations.
  • Ensure quality paint repairs through prepping, blending formulas, top coat application, and curing.
  • Identify cause and correct any deficiencies that may occur during the painting process including blistering and streaking.
  • Meet our OE and I-CAR standards.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g. air sprayers, sanders, etc.)
  • Follow protocols provided for repairs.
  • Prep vehicles for painting as necessary.
  • Strong, consistent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with the desire to work in a team setting.
  • Comply with all JHCC safety rules, guidelines, and standards.
  • Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of performing high-quality paint repairs using up-to-date methods.
  • Ability to use all power tools required to perform position.
  • Must be able to understand verbal and/or written instructions related to repairs, ask follow-up questions and communicate clearly any obstacles with meeting deadlines and/or standards.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Prior auto body painting experience required.
  • Experience with extensive paint repairs.
