We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electro-Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer with a strong background in networking to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in integrating access control systems with property management software and providing exceptional technical support and training to clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Client Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to clients and end-users on access control systems and software integration.

Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their access control requirements and integrate our software solutions with their property management systems.

System Design and Implementation: Design and implement access control system installations, including hardware and software components such as electronic locks, gateways, encoders, card readers, access control panels, and related infrastructure.

Software Configuration: Conduct site surveys to assess the physical environment for system installation. Determine the necessary infrastructure, spatial requirements, and potential challenges for successful installation and integration.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough on-site testing and quality assurance to ensure the proper functionality and integration of access control systems.

Technical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to access control software installations and integration.

Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex integration challenges and ensure successful implementation.

Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in architectural hardware, access control and property management software to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.

Network Maintenance: Maintain and control computer networks and related computing environments, including software (Windows server, Linux server, and Windows), hardware, and configurations.

Network Device Configuration: Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).

Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software, hardware, and other network and system problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, or related field

Professional Experience: Proven experience as an Engineer or in a similar role.

Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of access control systems, including hardware components, software platforms, and integration with property management software.

Networking Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, IP-based security systems, and database management.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external vendors.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Server/Client Operating Systems, SQL Server databases, Microsoft Networking Fundamentals.
