SEEKING A DIRECT HIRE ***Warehouse & Logistics Manager****

As the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient operations and logistics management. You will oversee the daily workflow, prioritize tasks, and maintain a safe working environment for our warehouse staff and product repair technicians. Your responsibilities will span supply chain management, inventory control, fleet maintenance, and coordination with external vendors and transportation companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Manage and prioritize daily workflow for warehouse staff, ensuring efficiency and safety. Coordinate with the Warehouse Lead on staffing needs and performance improvements.

Logistics Coordination: Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, both domestic and international. Maintain relationships with transportation providers to optimize costs and service quality.

Supply Chain Management: Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts and movement tracking. Ensure accuracy in packing, shipping, and receiving documentation.

Fleet and Equipment Maintenance: Manage fleet maintenance and repairs, ensuring vehicles are in optimal condition. Monitor warranty claims and mechanical defects.

Collaboration and Improvement: Collaborate with the Road Operations Manager on equipment and inventory needs. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance warehousing and logistics operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff and technicians to ensure smooth operations during peak times and critical shipments.

Documentation and Communication: Manage logistical documentation such as Bills of Lading and commercial paperwork. Maintain professional relationships with logistics partners for competitive pricing and service.

Safety and Compliance: Implement and enforce safety standards across warehouse operations. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety fitness programs.

Inventory Management: Oversee inventory movements and reconcile counts. Procure materials as needed and coordinate with external warehouses for storage and shipments.

Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain spreadsheets for tracking trucking rates, maintenance expenses, and equipment inventory. Proactively manage show inventory reconciliation and collaborate with repair technicians on equipment repairs and vendor communications.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in a high-volume environment.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite. Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
