Summary:
Work with shipping and production departments to coordinate timing and completeness of customer order shipments. Assistwith clerical processes throughout shipping, receiving and production phases of business operations. Assist with organizing production processes and verifying inventory levels. Ensure departments comply with company requirements and with applicable rules and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities•Review reports to determine requirements for customer orders•Verify inventory levels and organization for stocked items
•Coordinate and verify outbound shipments with shipping and production
•Update production and purchasing on revisions to customer orders•Maintain shipping and customer records and contacts as needed
•Moordinate outside service requirements with suppliers as needed
•Coordinate with production to ensure material problems get resolved
•Compile statistics and prepare various reports for management
•Work with accounting personnel to resolve A/R invoicing issues
•Assist with purchasing and production clerical functions

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

•High School Diploma or equivalent or higher
•Two to three years related experience and/or training
•Competent in Microsoft Office programs
•ERP experience is a plus

Language Skills:

Strong verbal communications skills are required. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information over the telephone and by email.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to problem-solve in various common situations. Must have extreme multi-tasking capabilities to meet time deadlines and customer satisfaction.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and sit. Employee must be able to walk, bend and climb without issues. Employee must be able to spend up to four hours per day on a computer and typing.

Work area alternates between temperature-controlled office and non-controlled manufacturing environments. Must be able to wear safety glasses and safety shoes as needed.
