Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our remote team. This role requires an individual who is proficient in managing financial records, including transactions, and preparing reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and will be capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Manage Emails, Deadlines, and Office Related Tasks.
- Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
- Monitor financial transactions and reports.
- Process accounts receivable and payable.
- Process checks.
- Understand ledgers.
- Work with an accountant when necessary.
- Handle monthly payroll using accounting software.
- Organize financial records, including filing, data entry, and documenting transactions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, experience is taken into consideration.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven bookkeeping experience.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks online.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Comfortable with meeting tight deadlines.
