Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of our production process, ensuring that our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of the food packaging industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all production activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, processes, and procedures.
  • Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Supervise and train production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, to optimize production processes.
  • Analyze production data and generate reports for upper management.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure the timely availability of raw materials and packaging supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the food packaging industry.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
