Medical Assistant - Riverview, FL
Contract to hire
Schedule: Full-Time 8-hour shift. No weekends, required to travel to Wesley Chapel office once or twice a week and possibly Sun City Center once a week.  Hours will range between 7:45 - 4:45 (Wesley Chapel days), Riverview and Sun City Center 8:00 - 4:30 or 8:30 - 5:00.
Pay: $19/hr
Requirements:

  • National Certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Rooming patients, assisting provider with exams
  • Answering phones and assisting with admirative duties when needed
  • Measure patients' vital signs, such as their blood pressure and weight
  • Strong working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Provide passionate care to patients
  • Other duties assigned
