Job Description:

As a Warehouse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our logistics and supply chain operations. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing the Shipping Schedule and Preparations for Deliveries: Coordinating the daily shipping schedule to ensure timely deliveries. Preparing and organizing the warehouse for inbound and outbound shipments.
2. Preparing Shipping Documents and Labels: Handling all necessary documentation for shipping, including the generation of shipping labels, packing lists, and other required documents.
3. Accurately Executing Transactions in SAP: Performing transactions within SAP with precision, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of inventory movements.
4. Resolving Shipping Issues: Addressing and resolving any shipping-related challenges to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
5. Completing Transaction Audits as Requested: Conducting audits of transactions to verify accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
6. Identifying Opportunities to Improve Efficiency: Continuously seeking and identifying ways to improve efficiency and productivity within the warehouse operations.
7. Utilizing S/4 Hana and EWM Post-Migration: After the migration to S/4 Hana and EWM, you will be responsible for creating warehouse tasks, monitoring tasks, and performing other necessary transactions in S/4 Hana.
8. Performing All Other Duties as Assigned: Flexibly undertaking additional tasks or duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the warehouse and logistics team.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • Safety: Ability to work safely in all tasks, adhering to safety protocols and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Communication: Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending English.
  • Basic Arithmetic: Ability to perform basic arithmetic for inventory management, order processing, and record-keeping.
  • Computer Proficiency: Competency in using computer systems, including SAP and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detail-Oriented: Being detailed oriented with the ability to execute job duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within teams, contributing positively to team dynamics and outcomes.
  • Education: High school diploma required.
  • Experience: Prior experience with ERP systems and in a warehouse environment is desirable.
