Job Description:
As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for responding to emergency water damage situations in residential and commercial properties. You will perform water extraction, set up drying equipment, and monitor the drying process. The role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial site inspections to assess water damage and implement a mitigation plan.
- Operate specialized equipment including extractors, air movers, and dehumidifiers.
- Monitor progress daily, documenting moisture readings and equipment performance.
- Remove water-damaged materials such as carpeting, drywall, or insulation when necessary.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with property owners and insurance adjusters regarding the restoration process.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in water mitigation or restoration is preferred but not required.
- Certification from IICRC in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Availability to be on call for emergency response on nights and weekends.
