Summary

Engineering Company in the Kansas City metro area is seeking a full time experienced servicel technician. Ideal candidate will be experienced in the maintenance & repair of flexographic printing and converting equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

·        Troubleshooting and repair of flexographic printing and converting equipment.

·        Moving and installation of Narrow Web Flexographic machines.

·        Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

·        Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required service.

·        Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

·        Must be able to work independently and in a team environment

·        Knowledge of mechanical systems, electronics, pneumatics.

·        Must be able to accommodate overnight travel responsibilities (2-5 days per month).

·        Ability to read basic electrical/mechanical and pneumatic diagrams

·        Capable of using multi-meter and micrometers

·        Excellent customer service skills

·        Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

·        Valid passport or ability to get a passport required.

·        High School degree or trade school degree

·        2 years electrical and mechanical experience
