We are seeking to add a Manufacturing Production Team Leader to join our team You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
  • Delegate production assignments to appropriate personnel
  • Read and follow production instructions
  • Ensure accurate production flow, compliance with established procedures, and achieve maximum production rates
  • Operate tools and machines to assemble products in accordance with company standards
  • Track production order status and perform daily management updates
  • Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
  • Take accurate measurements of work piece
  • Identify & address quality issues if they arise
  • Perform mechanical assembly not welding related
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of production tools and equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude using hand tools, power tools, manufacturing machinery, etc.
  • Ability to read blueprints, select proper tooling, and hold parts to within close tolerances
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-based environment
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as a member of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot
  • Safety-conscious mindset, working in a constant state of alertness and adhering to safe practices
  • Sit, stand, bend, reach, walk for long periods of time on concrete surface
  • Sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate tools and/or machinery
  • Regularly exposed to manufacturing areas that may require personal protective equipment
  • Regularly exposed to a manufacturing work environment that is hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet and/or noisy
  • Experience using and reading a ruler/tape measure is preferred
  • Ability to work in a variety of roles
