We are seeking a Dry-Cleaning Manager to join our team in the retail industry. As a Dry-Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our dry-cleaning operations and ensuring the highest level of service and customer satisfaction. You will be managing a team of back-end retail staff, overseeing the cleaning process, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

We are a family owned and operated business. We have built successful relationships with many people in our community. We are seeking a highly motived individual who is looking to learn and grow within the retail industry.  

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day to day dry-cleaning operations, including managing staff, scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow
  • Ensure the proper handling, cleaning, and pressing of garments, while following company procedures and safety guidelines
  • Maintain and monitor equipment and supplies, ordering and replenishing as needed
  • Train and develop staff members, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to provide exceptional customer service
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure garments are cleaned properly and meet customer expectations
  • Resolve minor customer issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner. Escalating matters if necessary
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, performing regular audits to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and new techniques in dry cleaning, implementing improvements and best practices as necessary
  • Proven experience in retail, hospitality, service industry or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of dry-cleaning processes, equipment, and garment care
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to delegate tasks effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Knowledge of safety procedures in a dry-cleaning environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously

 

Experience/ Hours

9-5 Monday – Saturday

The ideal candidate will have experience in the hotel, restaurant, retail, or service industry. Who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
