A Child's Place at The Ranches is a Quality First center.  We are seeking a Toddler Lead Teacher to join our organization This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead toddlers in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment
  • Develop lesson plans and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
  • Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
  • Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Have, or obtain, a fingerprint clearance card
  • Have, or obtain, a negative TB Test within the past 12 months
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Ability to build rapport with children
  • Positive and patient demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work as early as 6:00 am and as late at 6:30 pm - (schedule may include working 4 days a week, 10 hours per day)
