Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a part-time Frontend Web Developer to join our team You will develop and implement unique websites. Previous experience is required outside of an academic setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, create and modify websites
  • Convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats
  • Create back-end code and interfaces for new web platforms
  • Analyze user needs to implement website content, graphics, performance, and capacity
  • Keep up-to-date on web developments and trends

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in web development or other related fields
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • 3+ years of experience using HTML, CSS, and Javascript to build performant, responsive, and accessible websites
  • Experience with custom WordPress theme development (previous experience with WP is required)
  • Experience with React and AngularJS (MERN stack preferred)
  • Experience building production assets using command-line tools such as Webpack
  • Experience using Git and Github to manage version control
  • Experience exporting optimized images and videos using tools like Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Agency experience is also a plus, but not required
  • Polished written communication
  • Comfortable with SEO/Google Analytics is a big bonus or a willingness/desire to learn more about it.
