Looking for a dental assistant for a very friendly and warm endodontic office.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist endodontists during dental procedures, including root canal treatments, surgeries, and other dental therapies.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments and equipment are ready for procedures.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays as needed, following all safety protocols.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control guidelines.
  • Provide chairside assistance to endodontists by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing other support as needed.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including treatment plans and medical histories.
  • Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and greeting patients warmly.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant in a dental office setting.
  • Current CPR certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and comfort.
