Creative Change Counseling, Inc.(CCC) is seeking to employ both full-time/part-time Substance Abuse Counselors(licensed/certified/ or working towards licensure) to provide therapeutic support to individuals suffering from chemical addiction and/or substance use disorders for two of their locations located in Southampton and Mercer County.  The program is willing to provide internship opportunities. 

The ideal candidate must have experience working with individuals suffering from chemical addiction and co-occurring mental illnesses. The ideal candidate must be a Licensed or Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC, CADC) and/or licensed professional in related human service field (Counseling, Social Work, Psychology).

Individuals who do not meet the requirements may be considered, if actively engaged in the credentialing process to meet either of these qualifications.

Full time responsibilities/qualifications:

• Be willing to work with both adolescents and adults
• PHP/IOP/OP Program
• Must have an active NJ license: LAC/LPC, LSW/LCSW, CADC/LCADC or MUST be working towards a CADC/LCADC license.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Managing individual caseload
• Providing weekly individual therapy for all clients on caseload
• Conducting new client intake assessments
• Obtaining insurance information and submitting Verification of Benefits
• Running group therapy/psychoeducational groups daily
• Contacting new client referrals to set up intakes
• All clinical documentation including progress notes, level of care changes, treatment plans, etc.
