Job description

Job Title: Store Leader - CITY Boots - Luxury Cowboy Boots

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, influential and community connected Store Leader to manage our new CITY Boots Austin Store. The Store Leader with a strong focus on business development in Austin, Texas. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, including sales, customer service, management of a small staff, and visual merchandising.

This is a full-time position and on-site.

Responsibilities:

- A strong focus on business development and strategic partnerships to grow the brand in the Austin market.

- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met or exceeded.

- Highly competitive in driving sales to achieve store targets through effective sales strategies and staff motivation.

- Train and develop a compact team to deliver excellent product knowledge and customer engagement.

- Maintain store visual merchandising standards to showcase products effectively.

- Monitor inventory levels and stock replenishment to meet customer demands.

- Analyze sales reports and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

- Ensure that the store complies with all company policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with marketing and headquarters teams to implement promotional activities and initiatives that drive sales performance.

 

Requirements:

1. **Digital Marketing and E-Commerce:** Leveraging digital marketing strategies and e-commerce platforms can expand the reach of the luxury retail business beyond physical store locations. This may include implementing targeted online advertising campaigns, and engaging with customers through social media to build brand awareness and drive online sales.

 

2. **Networking and Relationship Building:** Effective business development in luxury retail often involves building and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, industry professionals, and key stakeholders. This includes attending luxury events, forming partnerships with luxury brands, and leveraging personal connections to drive sales and brand recognition.

 

3. **Strategic Partnerships:** Developing strategic partnerships with complementary luxury brands or influencers can help expand the reach and exposure of the retail business. These partnerships can lead to collaborative marketing campaigns, exclusive events, or co-branded products that attract new customers and enhance the brand's prestige.

 

4. **Clienteling:** Utilizing clienteling techniques to personalize the shopping experience for each customer can foster long-term relationships and increase customer loyalty. This may involve keeping detailed customer profiles, tracking preferences and purchase history, and providing personalized recommendations and services tailored to individual clients.

 

5.. **Market Research and Analysis:** Conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape is essential for business development in luxury retail. By staying informed about market dynamics, customer behavior, and industry innovations, businesses can adapt their strategies to stay ahead of the competition and meet evolving customer demands.

 

6. **Exclusive Events and Experiences:** Hosting exclusive events, trunk shows, or personalized shopping experiences for VIP clients can create a sense of exclusivity and luxury that differentiates the brand from competitors. These events provide an opportunity to showcase new collections, forge personal connections with clients, and generate buzz and excitement around the brand.

 

7. **Luxury Brand Partnerships:** Collaborating with prestigious luxury brands or designers to create co-branded products or limited-edition collections can attract new customers, elevate the brand's image, and create buzz within the industry. These partnerships can enhance brand credibility, tap into new markets, and position the business as a leader in the luxury retail sector.

Additional Requirements:

- At least 2 years of experience in a retail leadership position, preferably within the fashion or luxury industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience in managing and motivating a team.

- Knowledge and passion for luxury cowboy boots and fashion trends.

- Ability to analyze sales reports and implement effective strategies based on findings.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail management or related fields is a plus.

In 2015, she left her corporate job behind determined to create the perfect cowboy boot for women. After lots of research, she worked up a design, found the right bootmaker, and brought her dream to life.
