JAMAK is a fifty-year-old family-owned silicone rubber manufacturing company located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Director. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership within the manufacturing sector, preferably with expertise in rubber or related industries. The Sales Director will report to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership: Implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives. Drive growth by identifying new market opportunities and expanding the company's customer base.

Sales Rep Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate outside sales reps to achieve and surpass sales targets. Expand current sales rep footprint.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships alongside Jamak Account Manager. Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions that add value to their business.

Market Analysis and Reporting: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.

Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other departments, including production, operations, customer service, and quality, to ensure a cohesive approach and customer satisfaction.

Specific Duties

  • Develop and manage sales pipeline; identify, target, cultivate, structure, and close new sales opportunities
  • Define and implement compelling value propositions to customers during the sales process.
  • Work with our Sales Rep groups to advance opportunities through the sales pipeline and determine the approach to win business.
  • Provide expertise when setting prices. Understand the various cost levers and value-added services available and utilize these where appropriate to achieve competitive pricing.
  • Recognize new opportunities in accordance with capacity availability
  • Generate plans for incremental business with existing customers
  • Lead win/win contract negotiations to maximize value for both parties
  • Shepherd new project through initial production stages to ensure seamless onboarding
  • Forecast revenue on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Work with account manager to execute account plan for high value accounts


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the rubber manufacturing or related industry
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements in the manufacturing sector
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales reporting tools

Salary/Benefits
