DESCRIPTION

Cholula Psychological Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated BILINGUAL, Spanish-speaking LICENSED or ASSOCIATE Mental Health Therapist to join our private practice team and make a positive impact in our local community. Join us to provide compassionate and culturally sensitive therapy services for ENGLISH & SPANISH speaking adults, couples, parents, children, and adolescents.   • MULTICULTURAL PATIENT POPULATION: Serve a diverse range of clients, with a high percentage of patients identifying as Latino/Hispanic/Spanish-speaking.
  • HYBRID & FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE: We are a private community mental health center providing both in-office and tele-health services. You will set your own work schedule, with appointment possibilities for mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, as well as remote and in-office.
  • STREAMLINED DOCUMENTATION: Enjoy our digital-only, electronic health records system. No paper charts are used, and in general, your documentation requirements will be limited to basic progress notes (date, time, service type, etc) and brief psychotherapy notes (Symptoms, Intervention, Response, Overall, Plan). Treatment plan length is approximately 3/4 page in length and conducted on a 6 month basis.
  • STREAMLINED INSURANCE PANELING: For licensed providers, once all of your insurance billing information has been submitted for credentialing, you can expect to be ready to provide insurance-based services in 15-30 days.

REQUIREMENTS--NO EXCEPTIONS

  • Master’s degree.
  • Valid BBS licensure: LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or AMFT, ACSW, APCC. Newly licensed providers are eligible to apply.
  • ASSOCIATES: 1000+ hours collected for licensure
  • Bilingual proficiency conversing in English and Spanish, no exceptions. Prior experience providing therapy in Spanish is not required, as experience can be gained after hire.
  • After hire, complete onboarding with selected insurance panels (licensed providers)
  • Availability to offer BOTH in-office and virtual appointments, with a minimum of 50% of availability required to be in-office. NO EXCEPTIONS. Our clinic provides office space for you.
  • Conduct an average of 30 clinical sessions per week (54+ min. each). This excludes the introductory period during which the employee’s caseload is expected to grow to meet this requirement.
  • Reliable home internet connection and computer, capable of supporting tele-health sessions and meeting documentation/communication requirements.
  • Fluid computer user able to timely and accurately maintain electronic health records
  • US citizen or resident

INSURANCE ONBOARDING & AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Your caseload will be custom built for you with a combination of self-pay and insurance patients.
  • The position starts as part-time and will grow to full time. Specific timelines will vary and are determined in part by each provider's client retention rate. Initial requested availability is 10 hours per week during the opening of the introductory period, increasing at regular intervals as your caseload grows until ultimately reaching 40 hours of scheduling availability per week. *You can choose your days/hours.
  • *40 hours of availability allows breathing room for instances such as cancelations, no-shows, and unfilled "holes" in your appointment schedule.
  • Licensed providers: Contracting and credentialing with insurance panels takes approximately 30 days from the start date.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct an average of 30 clinical sessions per week (54+ min. each). This excludes the introductory period during which the employee’s caseload is expected to grow to meet this requirement.
  • Evaluate a variety of mental health and behavioral conditions presented by children, adolescents, and adults and develop individualized treatment plans to fit the needs of each patient using appropriate diagnostic criteria.
  • Conduct culturally appropriate individual, family, and couples counseling using evidence-based approaches.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing immediate mental health concerns.
  • Complete and sign clinical notes within 24 hours of rendering services.
