Driver Job Description

Position Summary:

Drives locally company-owned commercial tractor trailer trucks, transporting good to multiple client site in one day. Verifies load at pick up to ensure each order is complete. Makes deliveries in an efficient manner, making the most benefit of time and traffic. While following all traffic and safety laws. Delivers and stocks products as per each clients’ specifications. Completes paperwork required for delivery, and ensures the client receives their signed copies. Customer focus communicates clearly with other departments, and complete daily task in a timely manner.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Minimum lifting of 150 pounds.
  • Operate class A vehicle / tractor trailer.
  • Operate electric pallet jack.
  • Local delivery.
  • Deliver and rotate products.
  • Sales experience a plus.
  • Complete and submit on a timely basis all required administrative paperwork.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • CDL Class A license is required.
  • Able to maintain a safe driving record.
  • 5 years driving history with 2 years CDL experience.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours.
  • Strong internal and external customer service focus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional, respectful relationships.

$65 - $70 Yearly

Base Rate $177.75 Per Day

Plus, Commission $.0848 Per Case
