Harris Family Furniture in Plymouth, NH is looking for a reliable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker who can transport items in a safe, timely manner. This person must adhere to assigned routes and time schedules. They must be willing to work as part of the delivery team to ensure that the customer orders are complete, in good condition, packed correctly and safely delivered to the correct client. Friendliness and a clean appearance are a must.

We have a smoke-free campus, and all of our vehicles are smoke-free as well. If our customers ask for our delivery crew to wear masks, we will provide them and expect them to be worn in the customer's home. There is no current requirement to wear a mask on our property or in our vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a wide variety of furniture to different addresses throughout New Hampshire
  • Follow routes on a time schedule assigned by the Delivery Manager
  • Inspect, prepare, load and unload furniture from a delivery vehicle
  • Unload, inspect and rack incoming inventory from tractor-trailer vehicles at our bays
  • Complete logs and reports
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards at all times
  • Have proven work experience as a delivery driver
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Have a good driving record with no traffic violations
  • Have the ability to operate forklifts with no fear of heights
  • High School/GED degree
  • Be willing to obtain DOT certification
  • Be able to lift at least 50lbs and be able to sit/stand for an extended period of time
