Job SummaryWe are a new brunch restaurant located in Berkeley with a focus on traditional Chiang Mai Thai food.The ideal candidate would have experience in both barista and bartending or be willing to learn the missing half. We hold high standards and quality of service in an effort to provide guests with the best possible experience. Consistency is our top priority as a new business thus finding someone who has high level attention to detail and has good self management skills is a must. We are a small team which means we rely heavily on each other and teamwork. For scheduling, weekend availability is mandatory and shifts are 8hrs. 
Responsibilities: 
  • Greet guests
  • Execute Drink Orders
  • Follow drink recipes
  • Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex
  • Create tea based drinks, from basic to more complex
  • Create N/A cocktails 
  • Have Beer and wine knowledge
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Run Drinks 
  • Support Serving staff in down time 
Qualifications: 
  • Familiarity with food safety guidelines
  • ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Previous Barista experience or Previous bartending experience 
  • Willingness to learn 
  • High attention to detail
