Part-time Accounts Payable Specialist (30-hours)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 08:00 am to 02:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch

Pay: $16.00 to start



 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain security of financial records and center assets including blank checks and safe.
  • Review invoices and resolve any discrepancies
  • Sort and match invoices and check requests
  • Prepare and process all checks requests
  • Reconcile and post payments from various insurance companies
  • Post all cash receipt batches to accounting system accurately and in a timely manner
  • Prepares outgoing mail and deliver to post office as needed.
  • Reconcile Petty Cash box on a monthly basis
  • Correspond with clients seeking testing
  • Prepare monthly billing invoices
  • Respond to records requests from attorneys, Disability Services, etc.

REQUIRMENTS

  • Education equivalent to a high school diploma required
  • Post-secondary education or training related to business practices desired.
  • Five years experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or general business administration required.
  • Knowledge of non-profit accounting, payroll accounts receivable, and accounts payable desired.
