Education / Work Experience

• 2nd and 3rd shift positions. 

• Background / Skills

• Automotive background, with preference towards high volume assembly operations. Experience with Japanese transplants will be highly beneficial.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects on a simultaneous basis.

• Strong troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and time management skills will be essential in this position. Ability to interface at multiple levels and operate within cross-functional teams is critical. Must be able to maintain project records and documentation.

• Computer skills (Microsoft Office) are highly preferred.

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing methods is desirable but not essential.

• Experienced in designing poka-yokes (counter measures) and simple equipment modifications. Ability to reverse engineer product as required.

• Ideal candidate will have a background in automated welding, Fanuc Robots engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing.

  Special Training / Certificates

• Preferred:  Welding, automation and robotics (Problem Solving Decision Making)

• Suggested: Project Management, Ergonomics, SPC, Robot Training, PLC Basic PLC Intermediate
