Midlothian, VA

MUST:
Experienced Registered Nurse - Pediatrics
Must have Registered Nurse Licensure in VA
Must have Peds experience
Must have Hospital setting experience
Bachelors Degree required

DUTIES:
Registered Nurse will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Ensuring care plan is carried out within the pre-determined timeframe
Basic familiarity of proper medication dosing and use
Provide family and patient education
Participate/support Shared Leadership.
Ensure that nursing is based on evidence of best practice.
Participate in community activities.
Continuously perform patient/family assessments as necessary to ensure needs are met.
Assess and modify skill mix and staffing levels using manager or clinical coordinator for complex issues.
Function as a resource in planning patient discharge and all clinical issues.
Utilize multidisciplinary approach to meeting patient care needs.
Demonstrate therapeutic communication skills by adopting techniques for specific situations.
