Job Description: We are looking for a Production Associate to assist production operators in warehousing, granulation, weigh ups, blending, warehouse or other departments to make products compliant with cGMP’s, CMS’s and production Batch records. They will ensure compliance is met with proper handling of all materials
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates a forklift or other equipment to move empty and full pallets, bags and other supplies.
- May work on line manually packaging products.
- Performs other duties as required and directed.
- Perform basic quality control checks including measuring, weighing, sealing, package counts and evaluating product or package appearance.
- Move materials around the production floor utilizing manual labor or light/heavy equipment.
- Load, unload, and move raw material or finished product within the facility.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the plant and maintains cleanliness of working area.
- Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures, strict adherence to The Wright Group and OSHA safety policies and personal protective equipment requirements.
- May be required to regularly lift/ move containers/boxes weighting up to approximately 55 pounds in a repetitive motion.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications:
- Food manufacturing related experience required
- Attention to detail
- Team oriented
