Job DescriptionJob Description

We are a licensed facility looking to hire outgoing and reliable individuals who absolutely love teaching and working with children. We need someone who is energetic, self-motivated, flexible, and is able/willing to grow. We expect our teachers to be both present and proactive in the development of their students. Is this you?

Responsibilities

  • Create weekly age appropriate lesson plans and follow a schedule of activities in the classroom
  • Provide basic care and caregiving activities
  • Remain in communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children
  • Observe children’s interactions and promote their independence
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations as established by the state of Kentucky

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:30a to 5:00p.

Candidates will be required to undergo a thorough background check and a TB test.

REQUIREMENTS

  • - At least 21 years of age
  • - 1 year experience in a licensed facility
  • - High school diploma or GED
  • - Clean background
  • - Clear of Tuberculosis
  • - Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • - CDA
  • - CPR and First Aid Certified
