Olympic Dermatology & Laser Clinic is looking to hire a Certified Medical Assistant If you are looking for an organization committed to its patients, employees, and the community, come join our team Olympic Dermatology & Laser Clinic is an established and growing private practice located in Olympia, Washington. This position requires a Washington State License. We operate in a very fast-paced environment so great organizational skills and adaptability are a must The candidate should have excellent communication skills with an outstanding professional presentation, while assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under direction of the Physician or Physician Assistant. 

This position is full-time, 40 hours per week working Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. 

Primary Responsibilities Include: 

  • Rooming patients 
  • Assisting providers with exams and surgical procedures 
  • Prescription refill requests 
  • Preparing exam rooms for office visits and surgical procedures 
  • Scheduling appointments and addressing patient phone calls appropriately 
  • Providing patient education and post-operative care instructions 
  • Suture removals and wound checks
  • Maintaining a professional attitude and attire at all times

Required Qualifications: 

Must be a licensed Washington State Certified Medical Assistant. One to two years related experience and/or training required. Must have exceptional customer service skills, be highly organized, self-motivated and very detail oriented. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Dermatology experience and electronic medical records preferred.
