Job DescriptionJob Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assemble electronic equipment, install components, units, sub-assemblies, & wiring
  • Assemble units with process that may include but not limited to: soldering, stripping wires, crimping pins, heat shrinking of tubing, labels
  • Read and interpret drawings, Schematics, specifications, work orders or reports
  • Test products to ensure conformance to specification
  • Perform manual assembly during the small-scale production of electronic devices used in simulation avionic systems

QUALIFICATION

  • Electronic Engineering Tech degree preferred, High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Demonstrate good soldering skills
  • Recent PC Board soldering experience
  • Able to read work instructions and assembly drawings
  • Ability to fully wire units using schematics and wiring diagrams with little to no supervision
  • Knowledge of operating crimping tools, ohmmeter, power supplies, and oscilloscopes
  • Able to sit for a long period of time
  • Must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk, reach, pull up to 20 pounds
