Job Description:
Our client looking for an Audit Senior who is passionate about public accounting and excels in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior staff. As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing audit engagements, as well as developing and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit engagements from planning through completion for various clients, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop audit programs, perform risk assessments, and evaluate internal controls.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, audit reports, and other deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business operations, identify potential issues, and provide value-added solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing.
  • Foster strong client relationships and actively participate in business development initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of firm policies and procedures to enhance audit quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification (or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on auditing.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant auditing standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and team members at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
