This is a diverse job involving processing and packaging mostly meat birds, but occasionally turkeys.  Other parts of the job involve learning to stuff and link sausage, cleaning and preparation for food handling, washing bins, packing orders and loading the delivery truck.  The job is typically Monday through Friday, but there's flexibility to have a Tuesday through Friday or Monday through Thursday schedule as well.  30 to 40 hours a week.   A fresh chicken or the equivalent in chicken pieces are provided every week.

Company DescriptionTide Mill Organic Farm is a family run farm with members of the 7th, 8th and 9th generation Bells and their families working together with a team of 8 to 10 other employees to do the hard work of raising, milking, processing, bottling, marketing, delivering and selling our chicken, raw milk and dairy products, beef, pork, turkey, vegetables and seedlings. It's a busy environment, organized chaos some would call it. Especially in the summer months.
