Hostel Manager

Our hostel, located in downtown Bozeman, Montana, is looking for a manager 

Candidates should be able to:

·       Orchestrate smooth day-to-day operations of a hostel serving 34 guests with an extremely high daily turnover rate and supervise 12 staff members to ensure overall success in housekeeping and reception

·       Execute back-end operations including accounting, administrating policies, communicating with booking platforms, and assessing customer reviews from multiple different sources

·       Evaluate and initiate any necessary maintenance ranging from plumbing to laundry to technology issues

·       Manage inventory of products including dry goods, cleaning supplies, office supplies, and breakfast foods

·       Generate a different schedule each week to adapt to weekly conflicts of staff members 

·       Select, interview, and hire staff members from a vast applicant pool and train them to ensure successful integration and continuation of standards

·       Lead meetings to address necessary issues, communicate information, and ensure alignment

We are hoping to hire the right fit by the beginning of June to train around 10-20 hours per week in the summer months, around 20-25 hours per week in the fall, winter and spring and around 40 hours per week in the 2025 summer months (starting May 2025).
