Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a full-time Sales Agent to work in our Newton, MA office (unless you have prior experience working in our industry). You have a dynamic and outgoing personality. You must be tenacious, persistent, and persuasive, on the phone and by email. You follow current events and have a keen interest in what’s hot, what’s happening, and what’s relevant in the world today.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Minimum of three years of sales experience (industry experience preferred, but not mandatory)

· Self-motivated, organized and has the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team

· Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

· Professional phone presence and comfort making cold calls

· Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and take initiative when juggling multiple tasks

· Solid typing and computer skills, with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

· Above all, a strong work ethic and the desire to learn

Preferred additional assets:

· Some experience in Entertainment, PR or media

· Experience working with event managers or planning events

What you will do:

As a member of the sales team, you will prospect, maintain, and grow a client base, guide a sale from beginning to end, manage expectations, engage fully with buyers to help find the perfect speaker for their event. Your exceptional, organizational and communication skills will be used as you are booking speaking events around the world.
