A Kitchen Director who is part of the Chick-fil-A White Oak Village family, will develop Leaders and Team Members to provide the highest quality service experience by using tools and systems to create an environment that produces a positive influence on all those that come into contact with our organization. Directors are responsible for enriching the culture relative to the CFA purpose and values. Kitchen Directors are responsible for executing strategies and putting ideas into action across all critical success factors that drive the restaurant towards our vision. Training, although continuous, initially includes 5 weeks of personalized training with guidance from the General Manager.
Leadership and/or management experience required. Quick service, restaurant &/or kitchen experience required. Servsafe certification preferred but not required.
Vision: Every Team member is cared for to ensure a “REMARK”able” experience for all our guests.

Processes – Provide servant leadership that results in BOH operational excellence.
Communication – Provide relevant communication to Operator, GM, Restaurant Ops Director, all other Directors, Asst. Directors, Team Leaders and Team Members.

Kitchen Director Responsibilities:
- Leads all food service operations and day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
- Provides direction to kitchen staff, ensuring execution of all employee duties.
- Monitors kitchen operations to ensure compliance with health and fire department regulations.
- Ensures compliance with state, federal, and local food handling requirements and standards.
- Assists in the implementation and management of kitchen and restaurant policies and procedures.
- Completes the duties of a line cook when needed, and is capable of performing the duties of all kitchen positions.
- Ensures products are stored at the correct temperatures and all CFA tracking systems are utilized.
- Participates in monthly inventory process.
- Anticipates, identifies, and corrects any issues with inventory, systems, and staffing.
- Monitors waste and implements systems to improve waste metrics.
- Oversees and approves training and development of kitchen staff.
- Participates in the hiring process by conducting interviews and making hiring recommendations.
