Job DescriptionJob Description

Capitol Legal LLC is a Florida law firm seeking one or more qualified paralegals to fill a remote paid position. Responsibilities will include all traditional paralegal duties, including but not limited to, legal research through LexisNexis, managing files, assisting with drafting legal memoranda, motions, and other legal filings related to the firm’s commercial litigation practice.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research on various topics as assigned
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements
- Interview clients to gather necessary information
- Review and organize legal documents
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings
- Manage and maintain attorney calendars
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or related field (Preferred) 
- Proven experience working as a Paralegal
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to conduct legal research efficiently
- Proficiency in proofreading and document review
- Excellent administrative skills
- Proven experience with litigation processes and commercial law
