We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Quality Manager to oversee and manage quality standards and industrialization services within the aerospace manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will ensure that all aerospace products and services meet both internal and external requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management Systems:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and standards to ensure adherence to aerospace specifications.
  • Oversee audits of the quality system for deficiency identification and correction.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Supplier and Crisis Management:
  • Support suppliers facing difficulties by providing expertise and workforce to contain issues, solve problems, and accelerate deliveries.
  • Implement crisis and recovery management processes to minimize impacts on business operations.
  • Monitor and report supply chain performances, ensuring adherence to defined standards.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
  • Lead and monitor the work on the Aircraft until its successful completion.
  • Prepare and perform handovers with factory, ensuring final physical A/C/Folio suitability.
  • Create and monitor reports on serial production progress, missing parts, and line of balance at the work center level.
  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure points are closed in line with customer objectives.
  • Participate in daily production monitoring meetings and follow up on the performance of outstanding work.
  • Draft and maintain meeting reports and keep joint information systems updated.
  • Training and Development:
  • Oversee training and development of staff involved in quality control processes.
  • Ensure that the skill level of personnel matches the services to be provided.

Key Deliverables:

  • Crisis Mode Setup: Preliminary actions launched, communication plan prepared, and supplier KoM performed.
  • Impact Analysis: Mapping of impacted customers and products, identification of stock coverage, and containment actions updated.
  • Action Plan Deployment: Routines to monitor action plan deployment organized, efficiency checked, and risks captured.
  • Closure: Lessons learnt, preventive plan defined, and recovery mission closure report delivered.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality management within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong understanding of quality control procedures, aerospace regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
