Job description

Duties for this position include:

1. Assisting with installation and repair of water lines and meters, as well as connection and disconnection of service and monthly meter reading.

2. Patching streets, digging holes, laying pipes and removing water meters.

3. Training to use specialized equipment.

4. Mowing, trimming & edging lawns at the water department and the various well fields.

5. Reading Meters

6. Other duties as specified by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Driver's License with a 5 year clean driving record.

2. Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test as well as a general medical physical exam.

3. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. and be able to tolerate working in outside weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
