RV Mechanic / Service Technician

Van City RV is looking for reliable person with a technical aptitude and excellent customer skills. Willing to invest time and training into the right person who willing to learn and problem solve. Get on the job training, no prior schooling or RV experience required.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintenance on interior and exterior of RV
• Working on appliances, roofs and siding, windows, plumbing, electrical systems, etc
• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Valid driver license with good driving record required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Previous experience in RV, motorhome, automotive, or other related fields a plus
• Previous electrical and plumbing experience a plus
• Onan generator experience a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment a plus
• Have your own tools a plus
• RVIA Certified a Plus
