Work hours will be Monday-Thursday 7-5 and Friday 8-12.

Starting pay will be based off interview and estimating experience and pay will increase once estimate efficiency and accuracy improve. Experienced estimators may start at a higher pay.

CCC Estimating Software is used.

Collision Plus has locations in Blacksburg and Christiansburg.

Position Summary:

• Examine damaged vehicles and write damage assessment for cost of repairs.
• Assist customers with questions regarding their vehicles damage and the repair process.
• Communicate with the customer throughout the entire repair process with status updates and provide a high level of customer service.
• Work with body shop manager and technicians to ensure the customer’s repair concerns are addressed.
• Be able to work with computers and understand the estimating software and also be able to us MS Office Programs.
• Understand the different Insurance programs that we work with and follow up with insurance companies for payments.
• Must have excellent communications skills and be able to build relationships with customers, technicians, and insurance representatives.
• Assist in any administrative duties when necessary.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of customer service experience
• High level of verbal/written communication, negation and problem solving skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge, computer software and internet proficiency.
• Must have self-confidence, enjoy learning and have a high attention to detail.
• One year or more of estimating preferred
• Must Have Valid Drivers License
