Job DescriptionJob Description

Echo Well is new mobile cardiac ultrasound company focused on bringing excellent care to rural and undeserved communities. We are currently looking for a dedicated contract/per diem Ultrasound Technician to help service patients in Southeast NM. More importantly we are looking for someone who is wanting to grow with a growing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing the diagnostic equipment before appointments
  • Discussing the procedure and medical history with patients
  • Positioning the patient to produce the highest-quality images
  • Creating images of organs and tissues for diagnostic and assessment purposes using an ultrasound transducer
  • Ensuring the generated images are clear and capture the necessary information
  • Identifying potential abnormalities detected with the images
  • Providing a summary of the findings and documenting it in patient records
  • Communicating with physicians and other medical team members, who use the images to make a diagnosis

Qualifications:

  • Must be willing to travel to the follow, Hobbs Carlsbad, Artesia, Roswell and Lovington
  • High-school Diploma or GED
  • Associates in Cardiac Sonography
