We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: As a Gastroenterologist Physician Assistant (PA), you will work closely with our board-certified gastroenterologists to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. You will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and symptom evaluation.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as endoscopic procedures, laboratory tests, and imaging studies.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, medical history, and diagnostic findings.
  • Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal disorders, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
  • Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current state licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in gastroenterology or a related field preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care and improving patient outcomes.
